Speculation is on about whether or not Simon Cowell and Mezhgan are still engaged. Especially when he admitted, rather embarrassed, that he was unsure. One wonders what the scene really is – how can one be unsure whether one is engaged or not? Simon Cowell however, is so different from anyone else, he obviously enjoys this luxury.

However, the ring was very much in evidence when she appeared for an event in Glasgow. She had come to launch a Lent campaign for the Wee Box Big Change. The wee box is a box to put in the money that you save from giving up Lent treats and the money collected will go to countries all over the world that are really poor. Susan Boyle is doing just that this Lent. Now that is such a charitable gesture.

Well, her life right now is very different. She’s rich, she’s famous and we doubt whether the man in her life right now will get cold feet. She’s broken a few records along her incredible journey – twice No. 1 on the UK and the US charts in the same year, topping the popularity of Elvis and Madonna and being called ‘superwoman’ by Simon Cowell – well, he must be benefiting as well because his company Syco has signed her up.
Cheryl Cole did it and we wonder whether it will be Coleen Rooney’s turn next if she decides to end her marriage. Simon Cowell says he will be more than happy to let her star in his shows. Coleen has a great fan following and comes across as attractive, popular and sweet. So even if she does decide to walk out, it is not the end of the road for her and she could just have a great career opportunity waiting for her. Not to mention all the sponsorships and celebrity appearances that could fetch her a lot of money.
Wayne Rooney’s escapades have made him rather unpopular and the footballer is really sorry this has happened. Sources say that he misses both Coleen and his son terribly and wants them back.
What had made a splash in the jewellery world were the enormous diamond engagement ring and the diamond encrusted wedding ring that Wayne gave Coleen. There was also a huge diamond ring that he presented her with when their son was born. She was so proud when their son Kai was born and we wonder whether she will leave Wayne or try and get past this to save their marriage.
He wasn’t ready to confess to the public that he really was engaged to the make-up artist on his show, not even when she was seen sporting a huge rock of a ring on her left hand. However, at on the Jay Leno show two days ago, Simon Cowell finally came out and told the world that he was engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy. Even though speculation is rife that he actually proposed on Valentine’s Day, he refused to get drawn into making any confessions of how, where and when.
Of course, a bit of his acerbic wit came to his aid and he said that it would be a shame if what he was wasn’t carried on – so he’s obviously looking forward to little Simons coming along. Famous for his caustic wit and quick comebacks, maybe this was one time that Simon did look a bit embarrassed but it’s obvious he’s very much in love.
The big name in music, Simon Cowell – now who doesn’t know of him? – seems to have finally fallen pretty hard if sources are to be believed. The rather caustic-tongued Simon seems to have forgotten that he had once said he would never get married and now seems to be quite wanting little Simons around him. After admitting that his current girlfriend, American Idol make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy could be the one, he seems quite set to maybe walk up the aisle sometime in the near future.
Talk has been circulating ever since people noticed the expensive diamond bracelet and the diamond ring – a rock of a ring one might add, on her left hand ring finger. Add to that the fact that this is the first woman that he has been demonstrative with in public and you’ll see why everyone seems hopeful that there could be some exciting news in the offing. Though it seemed like Valentine’s Day would be a good time to announce the engagement if there was going to be one, thus far, there’s been no word.
