She was at the New York airport with a friend when photographers managed to take pictures of her wedding ring and according to them, it’s a huge rock that she’s got on her finger. Now is that her wedding ring or is it her engagement ring that they caught sight of? According to US Magazine, it was her wedding ring that she was showing off as she and her friend and her friend’s daughter were boarding a flight out of New York.

So many people have been curious about the couple after she and Daniel Craig got married in a very secret ceremony last month with only four guests present. Out of the four, two were their respective children. He has a daughter by Fiona Loudon who is eighteen and she has a son who is five by Darren Aronofsky. It was Darren who directed her in her award winning performance in The Black Swan and they were together for nine years.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz met last year when they began working together in the film Dream House. They are both busy with their own films at the moment with Rachel having filmed The Whistleblower which is to be released shortly and Daniel working on the next Bond film. They are both very private people which is why they had such a private wedding ceremony without the usual flamboyance that is normally associated with Hollywood weddings.

On June 22nd, that is, last Wednesday, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz got married secretly in New York and though they had been seen together, it was a big surprise to everyone. After all, they are both award winners and both famous stars but unlike the usual Hollywood fanfare, there was no leaking news, no huge fuss and no massive guest list at the wedding ceremony.

In fact, when they exchanged rings, there were only four guests present. Now that is what we call an anti-Hollywood wedding. People only got to know about it when Daniel Craig’s representative confirmed that the couple was married. In keeping with their wish for privacy, there were no details. Their two children were at the wedding. Daniel’s daughter, Ella, is 18 and Rachel’s son is 5. There were two family friends present as well.

Considering that most actors’ weddings are surrounded with so much hype beginning well before the event and going on through and after the event, this is a refreshing change. Well, maybe their fans felt a bit disappointed but it is their wedding, after all. Both wanted the minimum amount of fuss and that’s the way it happened. They’ve both been friends for a long time and denied the relationship late last year. It could be that they did not want to be under the gossip columns’ microscopes. They starred together in Dream House, a film that will be released later on in the year. Daniel Craig’s next Bond film and the first part of the famous Millennium trilogy are also slated for release soon.
