The Oscars is one place where you will find a concentration of stars as well as dazzle. The red carpet this time was no different – if anything there was a lot more sparkle to the proceedings with everyone turning up in their best, dripping with diamonds. The 81st Oscars in Los Angeles at the Kodak Theatre was really a show to behold in diamonds, dazzle and elegance.

The styles were straight off a fashion ramp and the actresses all looked model-like as they glided in with their impeccable gowns which were clingy, pleated or layered and altogether charming. Anne Hathaway matched her diamond pavé ring with a bracelet, brooch and earrings and looked stunning. So did Kate Winslet with her elegant pulled back hair and her wonderful ring complemented with diamond cluster earrings and a bracelet.

Penelope Cruz appeared with diamonds everywhere as did Marisa Tomei, Natalie Portman and Heidi Klum. There were so many more, each one lighting up the red carpet with such brilliance as they entered, wearing their wonderful diamonds with style and élan!
