It looks like Nicole is planning a girls only party before she wears that wedding ring and everyone’s wondering just how many of her girlfriends will be there. Plenty, we’re sure though whether Paris Hilton or Lindsay Logan will be there is anyone’s guess. Like them, Nicole has been in the news for far too long for all the wrong reasons. The star of The Simple Life, like her co-star Paris Hilton, Nicole too has been pulled u[p for drinking and drugs but all that seems to be in the past now.

Nicole and Joel Madden have been together for a while now and they have two children together. They plan to get married in December this year. Both are very into charity and have together started a foundation that gives to children. Madden is a rock star and Nicole too is has made a foray into the world of music. She has also penned two novels, one of which is expected to be released soon.

The rumour is that the wedding will be held at her father, Lionel Ritchie’s place and Nicole has been seen shopping for wedding dresses. With December just around the corner, there’s obviously a lot of preparing to do.

Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden have been together for three years now and even though they didn’t get engaged or married right away but decided to have their babies instead, all the wait has perhaps done is to ensure that the diamond engagement ring is even bigger than one thought possible. Nicole has always liked her jewellery to be large and flashy and it looks like that has extended to her engagement ring as well.

The large diamond is securely set in platinum so it minimizes the chance of it falling out. It has a classic centre diamond which is brilliant cut but it has a modern design around it with a pavé design. It looks like there’s a wedding planned in summer.

Their second baby is due soon and the news is that they could be getting married sometime around Christmas. It looks like Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden want to keep it close with just the family and friends. According to sources, the guest list is expected to be fifty guests or so.

Speculation is that the wedding will probably take place on Christmas Eve. Nicole who is 27 and Joel who is 30 have been together for some time now and one wonders if her old friend Paris Hilton will be there at the event as well.
