15-Diamond Ring For Lakers 15th Championship
Saturday, October 31st, 2009The Los Angeles Lakers are a lucky lot indeed. To celebrate their 15th NBA Championship, they are getting specially designed diamond rings. The rings are designed by the famous Beverly Hills jeweller, Jason and they are made of special 15 carat yellow and white gold with 15 diamonds. The diamonds weigh 2.85 carats.
The ring is made to look like their arena from the side and the ring carries the number as well as the name of each player. What’s more, each player has the image of his face that has been laser-engraved onto the ring and that’s personalising it so much. The letter ‘L’ is also engraved on the ring – at different places for each player. Even the packaging is special. When the box that contains each ring is opened, there will be two LED lights that shine on the ring as the ring rotates on its base with the help of a mechanical device.
