Sharon Osbourne celebrated her 58th birthday recently and guess what Kelly Osbourne gave her mother as a birthday gift? A diamond ring with moonstones and all because she just could not make up her mind what to get her. Kelly and Sharon are really close and it is said that they even work out with each other.

The diamond ring wasn’t all that she got her. She also got her a cake from a bakery in Los Angeles which had vines and flower all made out of icing. Kelly said it was an amazing decorated berry cake. The Osbournes reality show star is very close to her mother and they spend a lot of time together.

So what did they do on Sharon’s birthday? They just hung around together at home, didn’t want to go out at night, just wanted to stay in. Kelly says it was a low key affair that was just what they wanted because it was what they love doing best together. A daughter who remembers, who spends time with you, gets you a great cake and a superb diamond ring – could any Mum ask for more?

Apparently, she wants him to be able to drink at their wedding and he won’t for another two years. So Kelly Osbourne has postponed wedding plans to Luke Worrall. 21 is the legal age when Luke, who is 19 right now, will be able to drink in America.

The couple was expected to get married early in 2010 but Kelly is older than Luke – six years older in fact and even though she has stopped drinking, she wants him to be legally able to at the wedding. Right now, she has a hectic schedule as she is in Dancing with the Stars and she hopes once that is over, she won’t slip back to the drugs and booze again. After coming out of a rehab programme in February this year, she has managed to stay away from it.

What does a guy very much in love do when he wants to show his girl just how much he loves her? Well, if it’s Luke Worrall he gives her a second engagement ring because he wants her to have a diamond engagement ring that’s even more expensive. When the girl is Kelly Osbourne, obviously that makes news.

On Kelly’s 25th birthday, this is just what Luke did. He got her a diamond ring with a heart shaped diamond set in white gold. Not just any heart shaped diamond but a whopper of a rock and it was given to replace the old engagement ring he had got her. Well, she got something else as a birthday present that she loves – a black Pomeranian pup from her parents and she’s called him Sid.

When you have parents like the legendary Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, and you are pretty well known too, everything you do is eagerly lapped up by a celebrity-hungry audience. So when Kelly Osbourne was spotted wearing a diamond engagement ring on her finger, it was only natural that the paparazzi were after her to tell them whether she was engaged or not.

Kelly has been with Luke Worrell for a while now and it was generally assumed that the two would be making an announcement soon. So when she stated that she felt that she wasn’t old enough to settle down, that ring raised a lot of questions. Was she? Wasn’t she?

The question seems to have been answered now – not by a spokesman or by Kelly herself but through an announcement in Facebook. Her profile was changed to ‘Engaged’ and obviously that was enough for everyone who knew her to rush to post up their congratulatory messages.

The premiere of The Dark Knight in London at the Odeon, Leicester Square was a great event and Kelly Osbourne added a bit of fuel to the celebrations when she turned up wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger. Now this is one rocker that makes waves wherever she goes. She’s 23 and he’s 18 so it seemed a little far fetched to expect to hear wedding bells ring, let alone the dazzle of a diamond engagement ring. This is despite her having dated Luke Worrell, the model since the beginning of this year.

However, there’s that bit about the ‘fake’ engagement earlier to Matty Derham the musician. Remember the inflatable church and the Irish Electric Picnic Festival where they were supposed to have got married? So where Kelly is concerned, there will always be that little bit of speculation. Kelly herself brushes the whole thing off saying that she always wears rings on that finger. She also jokes about being too young to get married. So according to her, there is no engagement on the cards, let alone a wedding and she brushes it all off with a casual explanation that she just loves wearing jewellery on her wedding finger.

Well, it takes all kinds and one wonders. If she could pull off a fake wedding, maybe she could pull the wool over everyone’s eyes that this isn’t real, either? Maybe, just maybe the truth is very different.
