With ex-husband Nick Lachey getting engaged, could Jessica Simpson be far behind? No way! And she also had to have an engagement ring that she could show off to the world. So it had to be a Neil Lane one – and the famous jewellery designer says that her boyfriend Eric Johnson said that it has to be a very, very special ring. Neil Lane told People Magazine in the US that he really did take that seriously and produces a truly romantic and sparking ring.

The engagement ring has three stones – a central ruby stone that is 5 carats, maybe a bit more and it is flanked by two diamonds which are pear-shaped and together, they weigh over 5 carats too. The engagement ring has a ruby because Jessica’s birth stone is a ruby and it is a gemstone that stands for love.

Apparently Jessica was very surprised when Eric proposed to her. The singer and her new footballer fiancé are reported to be planning a December wedding and one wonders if it could be because she wants to be married again before Nick. The rumours are that it will be a huge affair because she won’t want Nick’s wedding to overshadow hers.

So she went out and got herself her own engagement ring and sources say it is an expensive diamond ring with a 3-carat diamond. In this day and age, that might not seem unseemly except that her fiancé hasn’t got his divorce from his previous wife yet. So is the engagement ring in anticipation of the divorce or is she telling him to get on with it and get married to her soon?

Jessica has been with Eric Johnson for just three weeks and one wonders if that isn’t a little too soon to know that the person is the one. But Jessica insists she does and who is anyone to argue with her? It also transpires that she just wants to get married and this is probably the first step towards that end.

Well, she has all the money one could want and if she wants to buy herself a ring, so be it. According to Eric’s wife, he’s broke and while he did live with her earlier, she thinks he is now living with Jessica. No doubt the ring will be flaunted as soon as the divorce is a fact.

Jessica Simpson and her mother seem to be dead set on designing and promoting a wedding ring line together with Pascal Mouawad, the celebrity designer. So many stars seem to be keen on launching their own jewellery line today, what with diamond rings, engagement rings and wedding rings being so much a part of the fashion scene. Jessica Simpson seems to be interested in this new area after a visit to Pascal’s home where apparently she bought a 5-carat ring from his Black and White Diamond line.

However, it seems that Pascal is not too keen that she promotes a line of wedding rings and has been trying to dissuade her and her mother from it. He seems to feel that wedding rings are not really suitable for her to push. He is still keen to work with her on a general jewellery line, but not wedding rings. Now we wonder why?

She doesn’t need anyone to gift her a diamond ring. If Jessica Simpson wants a diamond ting, she goes out and gets one for herself – and a great big one at that! At a recent party, she was seen wearing a huge 5-carat diamond ring – not just an ordinary one but one from Pascal’s black and white collection.

So what’s the story? It so happens that she walked away with this huge sparkler at a listening party that was organised for a new Papa Joe’s happening night. She looked great, she obviously felt great in her high, high heels and short black dress – ands of course the dazzler on her finger when she walked out.

That was what Jessica Simpson was hoping for this Valentine’s Day but it was not to be. Her boyfriend, football star Tony Romo wasn’t taking the bait, even though she has been going on and on about how much she loves him. 

 It’s sad actually because she seems to have been living the past few months on hope and prayer. She wanted it so badly for Christmas, then for New Year, then on Valentine’s Day. Maybe she wanted it a bit too badly? Whatever the reason, she wants to be engaged and she isn’t – at least not yet. She was being candid with her sister, Ashlee a few days later, saying that she wanted him to propose but wondering if her ever would. The trouble is that Jessica wants so much to get married and have children but Tony really doesn’t seem like he’s ready for that kind of responsibility yet.

The news is that Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Tony Romo are going to be getting married soon. Sources say that there’s a winter wedding looming ahead. Are Jessica Simpson and her current beau going to be married soon? This will be her second time.

The couple has been together for a year. The Dallas Cowboy quarterback has had a great season this year and it looks like he’s going to top it all by walking down that aisle. The end of the year will see the National Football League coming to a close for the year as well as the Super Bowl season.

Now let’s look at what happened to start off these rumours. Apparently the couple were looking at diamond encrusted wedding rings in Dallas. Now why would they be doing that unless a wedding was imminent? Well, that seems to be a good enough reason for the strong rumours so we should, in all probability, be looking forward to a wedding.
