Theirs was a high profile romance and a high profile divorce – with a lot of high profile news coverage in between. Of course, anything J Lo did or does makes it to the news and her love affair and marriage with Marc Anthony was no different. Then, just when everyone thought that they had such a perfect married life, the ugly rumours surfaced of him with another celebrity. It was obvious that there was no way that Jennifer Lopez was going to put up with that.
Before they split up, they both were going to do a talent scout show and it looks like that plan is still on – they are both professionals. However, at the press conference of the show, she just could not resist showing him her finger without her wedding ring. They both talked to reporters but everything was restricted strictly to the show, nothing about their personal lives. Apparently, J Lo flaunted her status by putting her hand up to his face.
However, there did not seem to be any animosity and it looks like both are moving on and dealing with their lives and with the split. They seemed civil enough with each other and if they are going to be working together for a while, it would of course be better to have a congenial atmosphere and not be at each other’s throats.

Jennifer Lopez plans to sell ever piece of jewellery that her husband Marc Antony gave her after the marriage turned sour and they went their separate ways. Just the engagement ring is well worth millions and she also plans to sell her wedding ring and a lot of other expensive jewellery gifts and move on to a new life without him.
They have been separated for a few months now, so why this sudden decision to sell all the jewellery? Apparently Marc Antony objected to their children being driven around by her new flame and this seems to have been the flashpoint for her. Her new young lover seems to have a very bad record when it comes to driving so Marc is justifiably worried and angry. However, Jennifer Lopez did not take kindly to him telling her what to do and therefore this hurried decision to sell. Just to show him that she wants nothing more to do with him, obviously.
The only pieces of jewellery she will keep are his gifts to the children, the twins, Mark and Emme. And move on, she will because JLo is known never to stay tied to the past. She just cuts those strings that bind her and she moves on to a new life without the person she was bound to. Like her other partners, this one too is history as far as she is concerned.

She dazzled – or rather her diamond ring did as she showed it off at a charity event and not just one, there were two stunning rings on her fingers to admire. The diamond ring she was wearing was a Brumani Looping Shine one and it was set in pink and white gold. It dazzled with diamonds as well as champagne coloured topaz.

That wasn’t all. She had paired the stunning ring with another one that was equally stunning and the second ring was a heritage one and this had round diamonds set in pink gold, with imperial topaz and brown diamonds to add some more sparkle. The diamond rings were lit up with Jennifer’s wonderful smile.

The 37th annual awards show was glittering with stars from the music scene as well as the silver screen and the diamonds were as breathtaking as their designer dresses. Viewers sat glued to their television sets as the awards ceremony was kicked off with Janet Jackson.

Carrie Underwood was seen in yellow diamond earrings and a bracelet of champagne diamonds, dressed as she was in a one-shoulder gold dress. Melody Thornton showed off her diamond studs while Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna and Shakira sparkled too. Rihanna had on a platinum ring with black and white diamonds flanking a rose-cut diamond in the centre. Jennifer Lopez had on a five-carat wraparound ring and a wraparound diamond encrusted twisted cuff. The whole ceremony just shone with the light of diamonds dazzling!

When you borrow something, you usually return it – otherwise it would not be borrowing, would it? However, the dictionary the stars use must be a bit different because in Jennifer Lopez’s case, borrowing means keeping. Literally. And no one’s objecting. 

It all began with the Andrea Lieberman’s fashion line, ALC. This was a do at Beverly Hills and J. Lo had borrowed diamonds worth thousands if pounds from Robert Mouawad to wear to the do. Now most celebrities return diamonds they borrow after an event but J. Lo loves her diamonds and so, after it was all over, she did not return them. Rather, her manager called to ask the jewellery store if she could keep the diamonds. Though it was a rather unusual request, the store said Yes because J. Lo coming to the event was a newsworthy one! The press even wrote about the line that was displayed.

For a billionaire like Robert Mouawad, the owner, the amounts we are talking about are miniscule and he would rather have an endorsement from J. Lo than go to the bother of getting the diamonds back. Considering that other stars usually have to return the jewellery they borrow, we’re guessing that people as famous as J, Lo are above that kind of law.
