Spotted with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Nicole Scherzinger had a large diamond ring on her left hand and suspicions are it’s an engagement ring. The two have been together for a while now and the singer even wrote a song for him.

Lewis Hamilton has just become the new Formula One champion after the Brazilian Grand Prix after which Nicole posted a video online proclaiming her love for him. She doesn’t hide her feelings for him and has been pretty open about their affair since the time they started dating in spring this year.

In Brazil, even as reporters and photographers crowded around to take pictures of the two of them, she put her left hand up to her waist all the better to show off her ring – so little wonder everyone’s talking. With a rock like that, it looks like they are all set to announce their engagement to the world.

Does she even know how many carats that sparkler weighs? Rose McGowan didn’t even ask Robert Rodriguez about it. She just looks very happy to wear his ring. The couple has sparked off a lot of speculation and everyone wondered whether they were together, engaged or if they had broken up.

Here’s what happened. The jeweller chain has specials sometimes and this time around, one of the items on offer was a ring for $1 which meant hundreds of dollars off its actual price. Jan Pira camped outside the store for two days because she felt it was too good a bargain to miss. The main item on sale was a ½ carat diamond ring worth $1600 (£560) . Together with a friend, Jan sat outside with cushions and duvets, eating and listening to music. She got the diamond ring for $1 and she says she’s going to wear it for a while before selling it off on some online auction.

In Hastings, the chain saw a little more romance when a couple had camped outside the store and won the ring for $1 – and that became their diamond engagement ring! Well, in both cases, it was a bargain that hardly ever comes most people’s way so no doubt both parties were thrilled to bits. A diamond ring for $1 is the stuff dreams are made of!

The Brazilian model is known to have a really large stash of jewellery – she is the world’s richest supermodel after all. The tall, leggy model’s name has been linked with a number of famous men like footballer Tom Brady and Leonardo di Caprio. It is also rumoured that the jewellery that is being auctioned was gifted to her by one of her wealthy lovers.

Not just any old Merc – a top-of-the-line Mercedes – that’s what Hillary Duff got for her 20th birthday from her boyfriend Mike Comrie. They’ve been together for nearly a year – and people are already asking if they are engaged. Not without reason – she was spotted leaving her house with a diamond ring on her wedding finger. Well, it takes all kinds and one wonders. If she could pull off a fake wedding, maybe she could pull the wool over everyone’s eyes that this isn’t real, either? Maybe, just maybe the truth is very different.
