She’s come a long way as far as her acting is concerned from her debut performance in Pride and Prejudice as Kitty Bennet. She’s won a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award and an Academy Award and has grown from a shy British youngster to an international star.

Marcus and his group formed Mumford & Sons in 2007 and they all pledged to make music that matters, without being too serious about it. The four in the band are all close friends and they have enjoyed themselves making music. It looks like Marcus and Carey will also make sweet music together and everyone’s waiting to hear about that diamond ring on her finger.

The Sun reported that the couple seemed to be all about togetherness and that she was doing a lot of the talking, telling people about it. The singer is said to have proposed to the actress in Somerset at the Babington House where they went to for the weekend. And it looks like he is absolutely bowled over by her. They have been dating for just about five months now and she has been travelling between the US and the UK to be with him.

She was born in Westminster and it was her debut role as Kitty Bennet in Pride and Prejudice that shot her into the public eye and she has acted in a number of films since then on both sides of the Atlantic.
