There has been so much that has gone wrong with her life and at one point, it looked like she had just lost it. But Britney Spears has bounced back and she looks content and happy with her new fiancé, Jason Trawick. And now she wears a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring on her finger. Besides the wide smile, of course.
Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline with whom there was such a messy divorce realises just how happy she is and what a good place she is in right now and he says he couldn’t be happier for her. This, in spite of the fact that she had public outbursts of rage, was in and out of rehab, shaved her head and fought him over the children’s custody. Not the same reaction that Jason Alexander, who she was married to for 55 hours, had. However, she was young, she had problems but it really does look like she has settled down and moved on from that place. And her fans and everyone who knows her are happy for her.
Jason is ten years older than her and he is her agent so he probably knows her better than anyone does. He took her out for a really romantic dinner last week and gave her the ring. It was also his birthday so it was a double celebration. The two boys seem to be very fond of him and it looks like it’s going to be third time lucky for her.

Could it really be anything other than an engagement ring? And she doesn’t seem to be hiding it. So though there have been no reports of an engagement and no announcement from the couple, it really does look like they are engaged. Especially as there are rumours that Jason had a meeting with Pascal Mouaward himself and it looks like he was buying diamonds from the family’s private collection.
The couple is in London right now where the video of her new single Criminal is being filmed and once that is done, she will begin her European tour. At the entrance to the Radio 1 studios where this Bonnie and Clyde kind of video is being shot, she smiled and posed for fans and flaunted her ring. However, her people have denied any news of an engagement.
If she has got engaged and is thinking of walking down the aisle again, it will be the third time for the Circus singer. She was married briefly to her childhood sweetheart, then to her back-up dancer with whom she has two kids. Jason Trawick is a talent agent and though he has been caught going to the jewellers and she is wearing that huge diamond ring, he has denied any engagement. As most Britney fans know, she can be quite a tease and this isn’t the first time that she has been seen with a ring on that finger. Is it just a publicity stunt or could it be for real?

She’s been married twice before and she’s been through some rough times. She’s been the focus of the paparazzi for years but she now seems to be moving into a calmer, quieter phase in her life. Rumours have it that they have been together for a year and a half and that’s a long time in Britney’s life so if they have taken their relationship to the wedded status, it looks great.

Add to that the fact that they spent Christmas with Britney’s family after having visited Jason’s family and you can see how cosy it all looks and that the ring could well be a wedding ring. Of course, there have also been rumours of abuse where Jason is concerned but Britney calls them lies and denies that he abused her.

She flashed a ring that looked like a Claddagh ring on her wedding ring finger and obviously the gossipmongers are at their best – wondering whether she is engaged to her current boyfriend, Jason Trawick. The rumour also is that Britney Spears wants to convert to Judaism as Jason is Jewish. She even wears a Star of David pendant on her neck. She has tried out many religions so this isn’t new. So one wonders if Britney is all right and fit to be engaged.

There was such a big circus when she and Kevin Federline were married and one hopes that won’t happen again. The fight for the custody of their two young children was bitter with both sides blaming each other and Kevin finally being awarded sole custody.

That’s quite a change for Britney Spears anyway – considering the tough times she had to go through. She’s gone brunette right now, and she loves it. We’ll miss that blonde look though!
