Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z’s marriage in April earlier this year made headlines but the couple is very reticent about talking to the press about their personal lives. In fact, for ever so long, both of them would hotly deny that they were involved with each other till one fine day, they sprang the news of their wedding to all.

Beyonce wears an 18 carat diamond ring which probably costs something in the region of close to 3 million pounds. However, she denies it is an engagement ring because she says she doesn’t believe in them and considers them rather materialistic.

Jay Z is reported to have signed one of the biggest contracts recently in Hollywood and he and Beyonce were really friends before they got romantically involved, he has made an appearance in one of her music videos as well.

The news in Hollywood is that Beyonce and Jay-Z are married. Neither of them is telling but that’s what everyone believes. However, just yesterday, Beyonce Knowles was spotted at the Radio City Music Hall in New York proudly showing off her diamond engagement ring which had a massive 18 carat diamond in it.

Now though the couple have been together for a while, this is the very first time that the singer is showing off an engagement ring. Estimated to be worth over £2 million, all we can say is that Jay-Z just knew what kind of diamond to pick. Jeweller Lorraine Schwartz was the designer who designed the ring and she has been the designer to a number of other famous Hollywood celebrities as well.
