Diamond Engagement Rings Specialist

It looks like there’s trouble brewing in the Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton relationship. And less than a month ago, she was aired on TV flaunting both her engagement ring and her pregnant status. So what happened to make this sudden U-turn in the affair? Or is it just a speed breaker and will things be smooth sailing again? They have been together for nine months now and it looked like the news of a baby on the way would make them both very happy but news of Chantelle taking off her ring has hit the media.
Now why would Chantelle take off her engagement ring unless there were serious problems? Apparently, there’s been a lot of strain in the relationship for some time now even though she seems to have put on a brave front and both seem to have showed the world that all was well. With the removing of the engagement ring, it looked like she was all set to end it. However, their spokespeople tell the media that everything is all right and they are waiting with eagerness for the baby to be born. This, after Chantelle was seen storming out of the house after a row.
Just yesterday, however, she came forward and said things were fine and the winner of Celebrity Big Brother seemed very happy the way things were, tweeting about what she dismissed as rumours and saying that she removed her ring because it’s expensive and she is scared of being mugged or losing it.

It has all been played out in the public eye – the whirlwind romance in April, the proposal on live TV, the announcement that they are trying to have a baby and now, the choosing of the engagement ring. At least, that is what it looked like because the couple were spotted looking at some very expensive diamond engagement rings.

The store they went to was the Wessex Jewellery and Pawnbrokers store in Kent at Tunbridge Wells. It looked like he wanted to buy her a really big diamond to follow through with his proposal. The media even got photographs of him slipping a huge diamond ring onto her finger to see how it looked. She looked so happy and she was obviously sizing up the ring and how it looked on her finger. Maybe proposing to her in the middle of a live show wasn’t quite the thing to do but it looked like Alex Reid was making amends by letting her choose a gorgeous ring.

So did she wear the ring and walk out of the store? No, but it is likely that the ring had to be resized a bit and that’s why they didn’t walk out with it. In a recent interview, they had announced that they would only get married after a year as he is hoping that the divorce with Katie Price will come through soon. Chantelle too broke it off with Ray Wilding, the TV presenter and began dating Alex in April. They’ve both had high profile romances and it looks like this one is going to be as high profile too, with cameramen following the couple around – and they don’t seem to mind.

From all accounts, the marriage between Alex Reid and Jordan is over. They’ve been having spats for so long now and it looked like neither could say worse things about each other. However, that seems to be soon set to becoming history as they are now on a course for an amicable divorce. The papers were lodged recently according to sources and the divorce should come through quickly.

They are getting what is known as a ‘no fault divorce’ which means that they feel neither one is to blame so there will be a dignified parting of ways without the usual mud-slinging. It also means that when both agree that they want it by mutual consent, the process will be much quicker and both can go their separate ways sooner. Apparently Jordan wants to put the past behind her and move on. Someone quoted them as saying they want to end this marriage in a very mature way and not let it drag on by pointing fingers or squabbling. That doesn’t quite sound like either of them but maybe they do want to end this well.

However, there was one little thing that caught everyone’s attention and that was that Jordan was seen around town with a new man but on her finger, she still wore her wedding ring. Maybe she forgot to take it off? Maybe she’s so used to wearing it, she didn’t realise it was there? Maybe she wanted to make a point that she was going to wear the wedding ring till the divorce was official? Whatever the reason, she was seen out enjoying herself with Leandro, the new guy in her life.

The news that Katie Price was seen around town with no wedding ring last week doesn’t seem to bother Alex Reid too much. Of course, that bare finger meant that there were rumours galore about whether or not the marriage was running into trouble. The fact that she had on a tee-shirt with a woman crying on it added fuel to the fire.

Alex Reid had a very practical explanation. He said that Katie was going for a shoot and that was why she had taken off her wedding ring. Apparently he takes off his wedding ring too when he gets into training. He reiterated that their marriage was still as strong as ever – wedding ring or no wedding ring.

Did Katie Price/Jordan really sell her wedding ceremony coverage for £1 million? That’s the news going around about her second wedding with Alex Reid. However, there is some doubt about the wedding ceremony being legitimate because the one who conducted the ceremony did not possess a proper license.

One would have thought that something like that would put a damper to her spirits but no – she is said to be still negotiating with the magazines. All she feels is that she can then have an even bigger wedding and this time, have it in London – and maybe she wants a lot more for it, too!

She and Alex Reid were married in a hurry in Las Vegas and she came home last Friday, trying hard to stay away from the inquisitive eyes of the press. However, the press got what it wanted – they got a glimpse of her brand new wedding ring – it was a diamond encrusted band. Apparently, they want to celebrate with a wedding reception now that they are back.

Katie Price is hoping to bring out yet another autobiography and she seems to have sold the rights to the forthcoming wedding ceremony for a huge amount. What we also heard was that Peter Andre was very upset because he heard that Katie had gone and got their daughter’s hair straightened. Maybe she did it because she’s also managed to entice ITV into covering the ceremony?

It looked like Alex Reid might be stuck with a cheap wedding ring. When Katie Price went to the store to pick out a wedding ring for him, according to sources there, she asked to look at the cheap rings and she really was serious. So she was shown the bottom of the line rings.

Apparently Alex asked what she thought of the rings but she insisted that as he was the one who was to be wearing it, it was up to him to choose. And choose he did, finally – a steel and diamond ring by Yunis that cost considerably more than the ones she was looking at. The store people felt that there seemed to be nothing romantic about the whole thing and it seemed more businesslike than loving.
