Should you hide the engagement ring in a champagne glass or her food? Most people think that is so romantic, but women don’t actually like putting on a brand new engagement ring that is sticky with food or champagne.
Should the place where you slip on the engagement ring be a romantic one? Choose a place that has special meaning for you, and that will be romantic enough. It must be a comfortable place, a happy place. It could be a lake, a park, a beach, your backyard, even your living room. Just don’t choose a supermarket aisle to give her an engagement ring.
Should it be a public proposal? How romantic is this? Most women don’t like being proposed to in front of all their family and friends. Women do enjoy a special moment, and this should be a special moment for you. If you want to go public with your proposal, try renting a bill board site that’s on her regular route. Or paste posters on a path she regularly travels on.
There are so many other ways to make a proposal more romantic. Add candles to a table setting. Play a favourite song, or request the musicians to play a special song as you slip on the engagement ring if you’re in a restaurant. Make sure there are flowers around that add beauty and heady fragrance to the room.
A woman always loves a romantic proposal. She may not expect it, but when it happens, it will take her breath away. If you love each other, it doesn’t really matter how you propose. Just be sincere, show her how much you care and how much you want her in your life. Making the proposal a romantic one is just the icing on the cake.
