Please Return My Wedding Ring

What can you do when you are getting on in years and thieves break in and steal the valuables in your house? That is what happened to Nina Anzalone who is seventy and lives alone. She is in a state of shock and has had to be admitted to the Furness General Hospital. Unfortunately, while she was there, the riots in the country took place and she is sad to see that places that she thought were safe are now seeing so much of looting and robbery.
She feels what must have happened is that she returned from a day trip, was tired and must have left her keys still in the keyhole. She went to bed at half past ten and woke up the next morning to find quite a few things missing. Among them was her wedding ring from her first marriage – her husband died in a tragic accident just five weeks after they were married. Also taken were a present from her daughter – a watch – and her jewellery boxes. They also seem to have made off with a bottle of whisky that she had won in a raffle and was kept in the kitchen.
As her keys to the house were also missing, the police felt that the thieves would try and get into the house again and they have made her change her locks. She has lived here in this house for around ten years and she is really upset that something like this could happen. She is very sorry to have lost items of sentimental value and she has appealed to the thieves to please give them back to her. We do hope they hear and respond.
