Kim Woodburn Loves Wearing Diamond Rings And Jewellery

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

She admits that she loves wearing expensive jewellery – and she wears it all the time. The How Clean Is Your House presenter does not allow her rather sad and difficult past to stop her from spending and enjoying herself. She might have had a troubled and abusive childhood and been hard up for much of her early life but she says that she has turned out not to be extra cautious and she likes to think that she is a very generous person.

Of course, she is best known for her How Clean Is Your House series but she also went on to act in the Canadian TV series called Kim’s Rude Awakenings. While she feels that the money that has come her way thanks to being a celebrity is welcome, she also feels very strongly that health is, above all, what is the most important thing a person can have. Though she is 67, it was only after 2003 that her fortunes started on an upward curve but she is also grounded and feels that while money is necessary, it can’t be something that guarantees happiness.

She went through a recent interview wearing a diamond and gold bracelet that was worth £5000, a diamond ring that also cost the same amount and a diamond ring worth £4000 on the other hand. However, this does not mean that she is a spendthrift and she is careful with her money even though she does spend money on things she likes. Like the house she bought in Oxted a few years ago, making up her mind immediately. She sold that and bought another and somehow she has been lucky to make more money than she invested. She is married to an ex-policeman named Peter.

Robbie Williams Might Get Tattoo Instead Of Wedding Ring

Saturday, July 30th, 2011

Trust Robbie Williams to be different – maybe it’s expected of him. Well, less than a year after he got married to Ayda Field, he’s confirmed that he has lost his wedding ring. Maybe most men would feel terrible and go out and get another one but Robbie has very different ideas. He plans on getting a tattoo on his wedding ring finger to replace the wedding ring. Maybe so he won’t have to worry about losing another wedding ring again.

Robbie Williams married actress Ayda Field last year in a ceremony that created waves in Hollywood. The event was held in his luxurious Beverly Hills mansion. He first announced on his blog that he had lost his wedding ring. He already has a number of tattoos and he would like to tattoo an A on his wedding ring finger because, as he says, you cannot lose a tattoo as easily as you could a wedding ring. Robbie, who recently went back to Take That, has just recovered from food poisoning and he’s back to his recordings and his music tours.

Ayda has made a name for herself in Hollywood as a comedy star. She is the daughter of a movie producer mother and a Turkish father and acts in a number of TV commercials. She and Robbie have been together since 2006 and he proposed to her live on an Australian show by going down on one knee and then got married in a very publicized affair. Her huge diamond engagement ring was the subject of a lot of media pictures when she started wearing it.

A Fire, A 13-Year Romance And An Engagement And Wedding Ring

Friday, July 29th, 2011

When a fire broke out in Julia’s house where she lived with her two young children, little did she realise that it would bring her together with the man she was going to marry. Her young son dialled the fire department but by then, Julia, who wanted to get the frying pan that was the cause of the fire away from inside the house, had burned her hand badly. Then in came Rod, a fire fighter and Julia was so happy to see help on its way that she threw her arms around him gratefully.

In Clevedon, they bumped into each other quite often after that and one day, Rod picked up courage to ask her for a date. Like he said, he has fought a lot of fires but something about Julia felt right. Even after his stint as a fire fighter, he felt worried about her and he would drop in to see how she was doing. It was this month, after thirteen years, that he got down on one knee and proposed. The children, who had been young, are all grown up now and both of them have cared for them and brought them up.

Little did Julia know that day that her future husband would walk in through her door, all dressed up in a fire fighter’s uniform. They were married at Edingworth with their family and friends around them and Julia’s son, who is now twenty, gave her away. She got a sparkling diamond ring as an engagement ring and now she proudly wears a wedding ring as well. To remember how they met, they had a fire engine as a wedding cake.

Another Engagement Ring And Another Celeb Power Couple?

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

Sources say that Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford are engaged and that Carey has been flaunting her engagement ring. The Sun reported that the couple seemed to be all about togetherness and that she was doing a lot of the talking, telling people about it. The singer is said to have proposed to the actress in Somerset at the Babington House where they went to for the weekend. And it looks like he is absolutely bowled over by her. They have been dating for just about five months now and she has been travelling between the US and the UK to be with him.

Carey Mulligan was nominated for an Oscar for her role in An Education and she has also been nominated for and won several other awards. She was born in Westminster and it was her debut role as Kitty Bennet in Pride and Prejudice that shot her into the public eye and she has acted in a number of films since then on both sides of the Atlantic.

Marcus Mumford, front man and singer of Mumford and Sons. In fact, it was when the band performed in America at a private concert that the two met. They’ve both had their names linked to other celebrities recently but it looks like the two of them are together now. His band has been nominated for the Mercury Prize as well as the Grammies. Besides singing, he also plays the drums, guitar, accordion and the mandolin. Their debut album Sigh No More was a hit and it won Album of the Year at the BRIT awards this year.

Jennifer Aniston Wears Diamond Ring To UK Premier

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

She looked absolutely fantastic and she was in the UK for the premier of her film Horrible Bosses. At this event, she turned up in a grey, stylish designer halter dress and she looked great and of course, every eye went to her ring finger on which she was wearing a diamond ring. The question in everyone’s mind was whether this was an engagement ring or not. Her make up was subtle with just a hint of glossy lipstick and shimmering eye shadow.

The event was at the BFI Southbank last week and she posed obligingly for pictures, flashing her famous smile. Her role in this movie is very different from the usual roles she plays and she acts as a horrible boss who makes advances on her assistant who hates her. And he and two others who also hate their respective bosses hire a murder consultant to kill their bosses. From sweet, rather innocent roles to hateful boss? However, though her performance was pretty good, the film hasn’t done too well thus far.

Jennifer Aniston is seeing Justin Theroux and they have been spotted house hunting together. Everyone, most of all her fans, wants her to be happy, more so after Brad Pitt left her for Angelina Jolie. Since then, she has been under a microscope with every one of her relationships talked about and speculated about. Everyone hopes she has found the one and can move on, out of the public eye when it comes to her love life.

Earrings To Match The Royal Engagement Ring

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

Anything to do with the royal engagement ring makes news and now, to match that incredible sapphire and diamond ring, the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted wearing sapphire and diamond earrings to match. Yes, they are Diana’s earrings but they have been redesigned and set from the studs that Princess Diana was so fond of wearing. They are such a perfect match for the ring that spawned a whole industry of lookalikes all over the world.

Obviously, Prince William has inherited some of his mother’s jewellery and knowing how fond he was of his mother, it’s quite understandable that he should want his wife to wear something that means so much to him. So Kate has a number of heirlooms that were Diana’s and now that she is officially a part of the royal family, one can no doubt expect to see her wear them on different occasions. Considering that Prince William carried the famous ring around with him all over Kenya
in his rucksack for two weeks before he proposed, it goes to show just how important his mother’s possessions are to him. Maybe it feels like it’s keeping her memory alive.

In many ways, Kate seems to have stepped into Diana’s shoes – she even dressed like her a few times. Maybe it’s because both are beautiful and such wonderful icons for the royal family. So if Kate is slipping into her own version of Diana’s style, maybe it’s because they are alike in many ways when it comes to making style statements and looking glamorous.

Royal Engagement Ring, Wedding Ring And Nails

Monday, July 25th, 2011

What do you do if your hands are constantly in focus and everywhere you go, there’s so much interest in your wedding ring and engagement ring? For Kate Middleton who is always in the public eye, it must be quite something making sure that her nails are absolutely perfect every hour of the day, not knowing when she will have to pose for pictures or when someone with a telephoto lens is going to take one.

It gets tougher when you are sporty and she is known to go out rowing and then come back and change into more formal clothes and still look perfect. She knows her nails will have to stand up to a lot of scrutiny – not to mention close ups with powerful cameras – and that’s perhaps why she usually has a nude shade of nail polish on when it comes to her short, oval nails. It’s what she wore to the wedding too and this shade of beige not only suits her but shows her fabulous sapphire and diamond engagement ring to perfection. Nude shades are also perfect for people who like outdoor life like she does because small chips in the polish don’t trend to show with these shades while a dark colour will definitely show up the smallest of flaws. So upgrades are really not as necessary when the shades are nude.

The royal couple has been making waves all over the world and everyone seems to welcome the cheerful style they have. From so much focus on the engagement ring to the wonderful wedding, they have now come into their own as people and they seem to be performing their royal duties admirably.

Wedding Rings And Dream Wedding Sponsored

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011

Imagine dreaming about a wonderful white wedding with all the trimmings – and imagine paying absolutely nothing for it. Well, this kind of thing does not happen only in dreams anymore – it can happen to normal people as well, thanks to sponsors. This is what happened to Khryshal Barton from Lewis, East Sussex and with a little bit of research and work, she has been able to get funding for her wedding to Ian Booker in April next year.

Khryshal put down everything that she would want in her wedding and it all added up to £20,000 – money they didn’t have and couldn’t hope to get. Then, she realised that in America, not just celebrities were getting their weddings funded – it was happening to regular folk as well. So she went about Googling it to see what would come up. Today, she has collected over £15,000 by way of sponsorships and the couple are quite confident they will have collected enough by April to make that dream wedding come true. The wedding rings were donated too – and they were over £1,000. The wedding rings are from Smooch and they are bands made of white gold.

The businesses that have sponsored the wedding will be allowed to put banners at the venue and there will be a reference to them in the wedding speeches. Khryshal has been hard at work, doing leaflets which will go out with the invitations, talking about the sponsors. So while the businesses are getting their advertising, the couple gets the benefits of the wedding expenses. In America, sponsored weddings are taking off with advertisers happy to pick up the tab in exchange for business cards on the table, banners hung up at the venue and leaflets plugging the companies going out with the wedding invites. Though some people are snooty and think that this is rather tacky, what the couple gets is a wedding of their dreams – something which they could not have afforded.

Traditional Wedding Rings For Nick And Vanessa

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

Their wedding was anything but traditional, seeing that it was held on Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson’s private island. Though it was not a very large affair, it was an exotic affair and sources say there were only thirty five guests present – just close family and friends on this amazing tropical island. The couple, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, has already released a teaser of the wedding preparations and it shoews Vanessa trying on wedding gowns. There may have been just a handful of guests at the wedding but the whole world is going to be privy to every bit of the wedding and the wedding preparations as well.

The wedding rings, unlike the unusual wedding, were traditional – diamond bands for both of them with Nick’s being designed to look more masculine. Vanessa’s wedding ring was designed to match her engagement ring which is an asscher-cut one. Both the rings were designed by New York designer, David Bader and Nick’s has twenty four diamonds set in a platinum band. Apparently both of them wanted to have wedding bands with a substantial sprinkling of diamonds. They were obviously very happy with their traditional wedding bands encrusted with diamonds.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo got engaged in November last year and when they got married last week, they just flew their guests to what they told them was a secret destination – and what a surprise the island must have been! Vanessa is a former Miss Teen USA and is now a TV presenter while Nick is a singer, songwriter and a TV personality. They met when he was doing a music video and though they split after a while, they got back together and have been together ever since.

Latest Diamond Rings And Jewellery At The International Jewellery London Event

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

It’s going to be a really exciting event and the International Jewellery London event is going to be held between the 4th and the 7th of September at Earl’s Court. It is, after all, one of the most talked-about events in the UK and this year promises to showcase a number of new entrants, new designs and new trends. Many of the UK’s best retailers and buyers are sure to be seen at this event.

The event also has seen the launch of new brands and new collections – what better time or place to launch something new than at an event where the cream of jewellery buyers congregates? The jewellery stalls all have one thing in common – they will all feature designs and jewellery of the highest finish and quality. Of course, British designers will be the main group here but the event has also showcased designers from Europe and the USA. The seminar programme has already been released and can be viewed at their website. There’s a catwalk that will run through the whole length of the venue and there will be two shows a day. This, they hope, will bring the designs that are showcased to life. There are a number of new design areas scheduled for the event this year as well.

This year, you have the Henrich & Denzil stand featuring Stuart Moore, the famous American modern jewellery designer, celebrating his fifty years in the business by launching a range of engagement rings and wedding rings. For the first time, Daisy Knights will be a part of the show and she will be launching a new line called ‘Wise’. Kate Moss and Rihanna are fans of her brand. The other British designers who will be featured are Kleshna, William Cheshire, Shaun Leane and Malcolm Morris. There’s going to be a special section of silver jewellery as well and it will feature some new designers with some very path-breaking collections including the trendy Festina watches. There will also be a special section on pearls and designer pearl jewellery.
