She’s never been seen without her rings but the other day, Pauline McLynn was spotted shopping without either ring. So had she sent them to be cleaned, had she forgotten to put them on or is there trouble brewing at home? She is married to Richard Cook, the theatrical agent and on her blog which is read by many, Pauline has waxed eloquent about the delights of married life. A few months ago, the rings were very much in evidence when she appeared on a programme on Channel 4 to promote Shameless, the TV series she acts in.

Pauline is a lady of many talents. She’s an actress – her Shameless series is so popular and she has also acted in films, taken part in panel shows and even acted in an ad film. She’s also the author of many books. In Shameless, she plays the role of a nympho and one doesn’t really know why she left the show suddenly a while ago.

In her immensely popular blog, she writes about her books, her cats and of course about their daily life. She refers to Richard as ‘Himself’ and the blog goes from the everyday humdrum to the philosophical. So one wonders what she’s going to write about now. The absence of the engagement ring and the wedding ring could be serious and there could be quite a few cracks appearing in the paradise-kind of world she had built up so carefully.

The reality show actors are taking their lives on screen into real life and it looks like the duo Kirk Norcross and Lauren Pope are thinking of tying the knot. The couple was seen looking at rings for a long time at a jewellery store and speculation is rife as to whether they were looking for engagement rings or wedding rings. The show has not been aired for a while now so anything to do with the actors makes a lot of news.

The reality show follows the lives of people in Essex and in the show, Kirk’s girlfriend is Lauren so when they were actually out looking for rings, it looked like the line between the show and real life had gotten very blurred indeed. But then, the show says that they are following people and their everyday lives so maybe this is as real as it gets.

Kirk and Lauren met when he hired her at his father’s club to be the DJ and their relationship has often been described as being tempestuous. It had broken off when he threw her out of his life, breaking off things between them publicly at a bar. It looks like they have gone past that however and they are back together, maybe stronger than ever. So Lauren has moved back in with Kirk and people feel there will soon be a wedding. Their togetherness is really very strong – they even had nose jobs done together recently. That didn’t stop them from looking at those diamond rings, though!

She is the Guinness holder for sporting the largest number of rings – there are approximately seven thousand all over her body and nearly two hundred just on her face. And now, Elaine Davison is married with the one ring that could be inserted without piercing – a wedding ring. She might have been termed a freak by people but this Brazilian born woman is beautiful to her husband, Douglas and all he sees when he looks at her is just how wonderful a personality she has.

They were married twelve days ago in Scotland at the Edinburgh registry office. She is 46 and he is over sixty but they looked happy when they walked out as man and wife. She wore the white traditional bridal gown and he was in a sober suit in navy. However, her bridal headgear stole the show. It was made up of flowers and it was an elaborate affair.

Elaine is known to be different and she says it’s all about being positive. She has done a lot of extreme sports like walking on fire and skydiving. She has moved to Edinburgh and has a shop that sells aromatherapy items and she says she loves all things beautiful and natural. We wonder whether she classifies her piercings as natural too. All those rings weigh around three kilos and she never takes them off, not when she goes to bed, not when she has a shower. However, she says she is used to them and does not suffer from any discomfort because of those piercings.

A lady from Witney is devastated at not just losing her wedding ring but four other rings as well. They are all of such sentimental value to her that she has put out the news of how crushed she is, hoping that whoever took it will be touched and return the rings to her. She’s very emotional about it and she is appealing with all her heart for the person to give them back to her. Each of those five rings are representative of a time that was special in her life and at 42, she wants to keep all those memories alive.

The rings are from her childhood in Israel, those gifted to her and of course, her precious wedding ring. Together, they are all valued at around £400. Maybe not much in terms of money but definitely priceless in terms of the sentiments attached. Two of them are from earlier than sixteen years ago when she moved to the UK from Israel and they are among the few things to remind her of her younger days there. She says they were unique and artistic even though they might not have been glamorous. The five rings included her wedding ring which was made of white gold and yellow gold bands woven together, a thick two-band silver ring, a silver ring with a quartz stone, a gold band with two white stones and a silver ring with an evil eye charm.

It happened at the Leys when she took off the rings to rub sunscreen on her children – she has three of them. Then, she got distracted and got up to run after the children and forgot about them. What hurts her is that her husband had sold his guitar to get that wedding ring and she hopes that the rings will all be found. It’s brand new and she just can’t help showing it off. She got engaged to producer Scott Stuber on the 20th of May and the last weekend saw her flaunting her ring for all to see. Very valuable pieces of jewellery including a number of diamond rings were stolen from the Leatherhead area last weekend and there has been no trace of the thieves thus far. Apparently, there were five men spotted driving around the area in a Ford Fiesta and the police are still wondering how the thieves managed to gain entry into the house where this jewellery was kept. They are appealing to people, from passers by who might have seen anything to pawn shops, stores and auction houses to come forward with any information they might have concerning the robbery or the stolen goods.

The diamond rings alone were valued at thousands of pounds and among the ones that were stolen, there was one that was shaped like a panther and one that had a ruby set in it. The most expensive diamond ring stolen was valued at £140,000 and it was a platinum ring set with a 5-carat diamond.

The other items that were stolen were a gold Rolex watch, a Cartier chain with a pendant, diamond earrings and platinum chandelier diamond earrings. Also taken were silver and gold coins that had been packed in red boxes. The police are hoping they will be able to unearth some clues soon that will help them to recover the jewellery.

Imagine losing a precious diamond engagement ring and then, when you’ve given it up for lost, finding it after fourteen long years! A woman in Santa Fe, USA just cannot believe her luck because she got her ring back just before it was going to be auctioned off. The ring was stored in the police station at their evidence room for two years and when no one came forward to claim it, it was going to be auctioned.

She arrived at the church with her actor father Keith Allen in a Bentley and it was a great finale to the proposal in Bali over the Christmas holidays.

Her wedding gown was designed by Delphine Manivet, the French designer and with all that lace and all those flowers, she looked like a bride from the beginning of the twentieth century. The little attendants were dressed all in white and the bridesmaids were in a pale peach colour. Her brother was the usher at the wedding and the DJ was 12-year old Ted Lavender.

The singer has her own clothing line called Lucy in Disguise which she runs with her sister and her boutique stocks vintage clothing that is reminiscent of styles over the decades of the past. The clothes are very reasonably priced and they even have a scheme where a person can rent a dress from their store.
