Kim Gets A 20.5 Carat Engagement Ring
That’s a lot of bling and dazzle for anyone to be carrying around but Kim’s got it and she means to flaunt it. Kris Humphries, NBA basketball player, put that ring on her finger and they are both so happy. We told you a few days ago that Kim would like to get married, that she feels she is ready and that she was looking at diamond rings. Well, Kris went out and got her the absolutely perfect engagement ring – no wonder she believes he is her perfect man.
The engagement ring has a 16.5 carat diamond in the centre which has an emerald cut and on either side are trapezoids, 2 carats each. Kris asked Lorraine Schwartz to design the ring and he said he wanted it to be really big. As we know now, it is. The designer has designed rings for many Hollywood celebrities. According to Kim, it really is the most beautiful thing she has seen.
The proposal was romantic too – he proposed at home, in their bedroom, spelling out ‘Will you marry me?’ with rose petals. Now what could be more romantic than that? Roses, a proposal and a huge diamond engagement ring! Kris Humphries sure knows how to make a woman say Yes. They say the ring is worth nearly half the value of her mansion at Beverly Hills and that’s mind boggling. They’ve been dating for just six months but obviously that is enough to let them know that this is love indeed.
