She feels it’s a miracle. Especially as she is forgetful and she has lost handbags, purses and mobiles, leaving them behind and never seeing them again. So when she got back from a holiday in a holiday park and realised that she had forgotten her engagement ring there, she was devastated, never thinking she would see it again. However, Anna Laskey called the park and they promised to look, though they didn’t have much hope of finding a diamond ring.

Anna and Jonathan got engaged last year and they have a little girl and Anna usually removes her precious engagement ring when she gives her a bath so it won’t scratch her by accident. Their daughter Lucy is nine months old and she remembers taking off the ring and placing it on the floor of the bathroom at the West Yorkshire holiday park near Bingley. They came back to their home in North Yorkshire and next day, when she realised what had happened, she frantically called the park manager.

Imagine their absolute joy when the staff found the diamond ring in a Hoover – the only one of thirty that had not been emptied. The ring was held a lot of sentimental value – the couple has been together for six years and got engaged last year. They got the call about the ring being found a few after later and the ring was posted to them. She’s keeping a very close eye on that ring now.

That’s a lot of bling and dazzle for anyone to be carrying around but Kim’s got it and she means to flaunt it. Kris Humphries, NBA basketball player, put that ring on her finger and they are both so happy. We told you a few days ago that Kim would like to get married, that she feels she is ready and that she was looking at diamond rings. Well, Kris went out and got her the absolutely perfect engagement ring – no wonder she believes he is her perfect man.

The engagement ring has a 16.5 carat diamond in the centre which has an emerald cut and on either side are trapezoids, 2 carats each. Kris asked Lorraine Schwartz to design the ring and he said he wanted it to be really big. As we know now, it is. The designer has designed rings for many Hollywood celebrities. According to Kim, it really is the most beautiful thing she has seen.

The proposal was romantic too – he proposed at home, in their bedroom, spelling out ‘Will you marry me?’ with rose petals. Now what could be more romantic than that? Roses, a proposal and a huge diamond engagement ring! Kris Humphries sure knows how to make a woman say Yes. They say the ring is worth nearly half the value of her mansion at Beverly Hills and that’s mind boggling. They’ve been dating for just six months but obviously that is enough to let them know that this is love indeed.

Then she left for Europe and, as we said, it was a red dress, mermaid-style in Munich and in Moscow, it was a long black sheath dress for a photo session followed by a velvet dress for the premiere. From Russia to London and it was white – a stark, stunning white gown with long sleeves. From there, she and co-star Johnny Depp and the rest of the cast went off to France and the Cannes Festival where the photo shoot saw her in a navy blue dress and for the premiere, it was a sheer gown by Marchesa.

A jewellery shop in Keswick, Cumbria had £5000 worth of diamond rings that were stolen by four men. The store is on the Main Street and the men walked in and were looking at rings which were put on a tray. The men distracted the owner of the store and made off with the whole tray.

The jewellery that was stolen included three yellow gold rings, one with three diamonds, one with two amethysts and two diamonds and one with diamonds and sapphires. There was also one gold ring with diamonds that surrounded an amethyst. It all happened in broad daylight. The men came into the shop, looked at the rings and after creating a diversion, they run ran off with the whole tray and they are still kissing.

The men were all Asians and the police have put out a description of all four of them, no doubt getting descriptions from the owner of the jewellery store. They have asked anyone who has seen anyone matching those descriptions to come forward. There have been a number of daring robberies in recent times and maybe the fact that many have got away with it without being caught has made others bolder and willing to try their hand at it. Maybe jewellery stores need more security than they have right now.

There she was, at a book signing event and as she went about doing her book signing, the diamond ring flashed on her finger. She was doing a book signing do at Hertfordshire and there was this huge rock that sparkled on her finger so the obvious question was – was she engaged? After all, she has been seen around with Argentinean model Leandro Penna for a couple of months now.

A diamond wedding ring which was stolen from a home during a party has been recovered from a pawn shop in Rochester where it had been pawned by the thieves. The theft occurred at Portland Avenue and the Rollinsford police were informed by the people, saying that they noticed that the rings and some prescription medicines were missing after two of their guests left.

The two have been identified as Deborah Ann Miller and Andre Barcomb, both 46 year olds and both residents of Dover. Both have been wanted for theft in a few other cases. Soon after the people concerned reported that the ring was stolen, the police got word that it had been pawned and it was recovered from the pawn shop. This is the second time that Barcomb seems to be involved in theft of items from the same residence. The pawn shop’s description of the thief seems to match Barcomb.

The duo seems to have made their escape and the police are on the lookout for them. They are said to have been spotted in Hampton last when the Portland Avenue people went to try and get their stolen goods back. There was an argument though no one seems to have got hurt. However, both of them have escaped and there’s a warrant out for their arrest.

Mitchell Johnson got married secretly to Jessica Bratitch and they honeymooned in the sun in magical Maldives. It should have been a very happy time except that he didn’t tell his mother about it and she’s peeved. She feels and maybe rightly so, that the couple has snubbed her. Especially as he sent her a Mother’s Day greeting when he emailed her a few days ago but didn’t tell her about the wedding.

So how did she get to know that the couple was married if it was so secret? Well, they let it out on Facebook and considering that they got married before Mother’s Day and that it was up on their profiles for the world to see, naturally she is upset and what seemed to have been just that now seems to have blown up into a controversy as she is talking to the press about how bad she is feeling. Just when she had been feeling thrilled about his email wishing her, especially as she hadn’t heard from him for months, her daughter saw the news about the wedding on Facebook and she was devastated. Mother and son have not really been on the best of terms but she feels that this was really bad on his part.

The newlyweds are back in Australia but it can’t be very pleasant to get back to this kind of a mess. However, that did not prevent Jessica, who is a former karate champion, from showing off her dazzling cubic cut diamond ring. They might have had a secret wedding but sources also say that the ceremony in Western Australia was lavish.

Remember Marie Osmond? Well, the fifty-one year old is back in the news because she has just got married – actually remarried, to her first husband. Her brother and she will be going on promotional tours soon and they have begun recording again after thirty years. This is their first recent album and they will begin their tour from New York. They took the country by storm way back in the mid-seventies and now they are back after a stint as hosts in television to do what they do best – singing.

We told you how a woman who was about to be married lost her ring in Heaton Park when she had gone there on Easter Sunday and how she was distraught. So much so that she set up a special website to find her lost ring. Or rather, her brother in New York did it for her. And, wonder of wonders, she found her engagement ring, thanks to that.

Karen lost her £2100 ring that Sunday and when they had looked all over the park and couldn’t find the ring, she asked her brother to announce the loss of the ring online. For a few days, there was no news but then came news that the ring had been handed in at the Park’s office and she was ecstatic. She had just about given up hope when she got this wonderful bit of news and she hurried there to get that ring back on her finger again. Some kind soul had found the ring, read about it and taken it to the Park’s office.

They have a three year old daughter and though Mark had proposed to her four years ago, they hadn’t set a wedding date. She was applying sunscreen on her daughter when she took off the ring and kept it somewhere close by and then forgot all about it. When she realised what had happened, they went back and searched all over but couldn’t find it. That’s when she had the brainwave about the website and it’s really great for them that it worked.

A woman living in Pitsea was shocked to wake up and find that while she was asleep, thieves had broken into her home and stolen a gold engagement ring with three diamonds, a wedding ring, some vouchers, a used bottle of perfume and even her mother’s framed photograph. She and her husband were fast asleep at night when it happened.

The thieves got in through the garden after ripping up the doors with French windows, causing extensive damage and then proceeded to ransack their home, taking whatever valuables they could find. What is scary is that even when there are people at home and asleep, these thieves are audacious enough to break into the house. And what is worse, they walk off with things that are precious, of sentimental value and things that they have worked so hard to save up and buy. So one just can’t lock the doors and feel safe at home anymore!

The picture in the frame was of the lady’s mother who had passed away three years ago and there was no copy of that picture. Though the car keys had been moved, the thieves did not take their cars but they had opened her purse and taken everything of value there. The police have put out a notice for people who saw anything suspicious that night to come forward so they can identify the thieves.

Gabrielle Giffords is an American Congresswoman from Arizona and her husband heads the mission of the Shuttle Endeavour which took off on its final flight from Florida. Captain Mark Kelly usually takes his wife’s wedding ring every time he is on a mission and goes off into space. Then, when he’s back, he returns it to her to put back on her finger. This time around, though, there was a slight difference in the routine.

This time, she wanted him to give her his wedding ring as well. As it was too big for her, she has to wear it on a chain around her neck. Before take-off, Mark Kelly gave it to her chief of staff and asked her to find a chain on which to put it. There were other wives as well watching the take-off yesterday as the shuttle made off into space. There were also Mark Kelly’s kids and his twin brother.

This trip is a rather challenging one for the Congresswoman because of the unfortunate tragedy she went through a few months ago. She was shot in the head and was in a very critical condition when it happened. It took place at an event that was organised at a supermarket where she was addressing her constituents and she and nineteen others were shot. Six people lost their lives in the tragedy where this young man who was mentally unstable fired a few rounds. It seems like a miracle to have the Congresswoman back on her feet and almost normal again. Her husband and family were with her all those days and months till she started talking and got well again. She’s still in rehab but she’s on the road to complete recovery.
