Sophie Monk Takes Off Engagement Ring

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

She got engaged to Jimmy Esebag the French businessman based in America in January. Jimmy is twenty years older than her and they met and had a three month relationship before they realised they were right for each other and decided to get married. The ring of course, was fabulous – designed in a chandelier style and enormous.

Sophie was born in the UK and she used to live in Australia with her family. She flew back to be with her family and probably to show them her engagement ring. She used to be a part of Bardot, the Australian music group. Growing up, she wanted to be a classical singer but she entered this reality show and life changed for her and she became a part of Bardot. There was an incredible media push for the group and they ended up being very popular indeed. The group split up nine years ago and she moved to Hollywood and began her acting career.

When she got engaged to Jimmy Esebag, she told whoever was listening that she had found her soul mate and that he balanced her. However, the latest news is that the engagement is off and Sophie is off to Thailand for a month. The engagement lasted for barely two months and now, it’s over. The news was that she spilled the beans when she was in Australia doing an interview. Apparently she stopped to do her hair and look all glamorous before the interview. She also had her diamond engagement ring on then. So was she breaking up on the air? When did she take off her ring, we wonder.

Sarah Harding Shows Off New, Improved Engagement Ring

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011

Their engagement was truly romantic, the stuff that fairytales are made of. Girls Aloud Sarah Harding and Tom Crane have been together for nearly five years now and she says that in three years’ time, they both knew that they wanted to get married. However, even though they talked about it, the days, months and years flew by. It was at a romantic holiday in the Maldives that they finally got engaged.

Like we said, it was perfect. Blue skies, blue sea, sunny all day and a jeweller they just happened to pass by that had just the ring Sarah would like. Or so Tom thought. So he slipped away that evening and picked up the sapphire and diamond ring, put the box in his pocket and came back. Then, he most romantically went down on one knee and proposed. Like Sarah said later, there was no prepared speech, no trite proposal. Just words that came straight from his heart, words that told her how he really felt and he even stumbled over some of them but that was what was so sweet according to her. He pulled out the ring – he was wondering how she hadn’t noticed the bulge of the box in his pocket – and presented her with the ring – a sapphire in the centre circled with diamonds. It was New Year’s Eve and what a great beginning to the year.

However, Sarah, much as she loved the proposal, felt the ring could be better so when they got back, she asked Stephen Webster, the jeweller who caters to so many stars to look at it and make it more unique. So he did that and added more bling to the ring, which meant that there were so many tiny diamonds added to the design. Well, now she just loves the engagement ring and she has been showing it off. She even told Hello that she just loves it! They hope to get married the following summer.
