Just two weeks ago, the singer announced that she was engaged. And now, we see a picture of her with two rings on her hand – there’s a wedding ring as well. So has she announced that she is married? Not yet. Her rings however, tell another story and she is being very coy about the whole thing.

So now the 25 year old British singer is engaged and possibly or most likely married to 32 year old business owner Sam Cooper. All her friends say they are made for each other and there couldn’t be a better and more perfect match. So maybe Lily isn’t ready to tell the world about her wedding but she sure took pains to get her hands beautifully manicured before flaunting them with the engagement ring which is a sparkler and what is most likely a wedding ring.

The couple have had it hard last year when Lily suffered a miscarriage. She had been expecting for six months when it happened and both were devastated, especially Lily who wants to be a mother more than anything. Well, now, they’re married hopefully and they will be lucky enough to have a family soon. The Grammy Award nominee who is such a talented musician and singer deserves it.

His wife Jenna does not want him walking around without a wedding ring so this piece of string tied around his finger seems to be the best he could think of at least till such time that he can replace the wedding ring. At least this way, Jenna probably feels that it will remind him that he is a married man.

The floods in Queensland have had so many stories of loss but this one is really sad. The Kochos – Judy and Greg of Condamine have been married for thirty-seven years and they were evacuated when floods hit their town a week ago. They were flown back a few days ago and their one aim is to find their wedding rings which they are wishing were not washed away in the floods.

They had left their wedding rings locked up in a cupboard which is why there is some hope that they can locate it and get those rings back. For them, the gold of those rings are a symbol of their eternal love and they so want to find them. There’s no electricity and no running water but home is, after all, home. It’s going to be tough and residents have been warned not to venture out too much. Most people have lost everything.

The two young ones have been dating for a while now and according to Hollywood sources, they are inseparable. The diamond bracelet is obviously a message to say that she belongs to him and that their relationship will now be progressing to a new level.

Rumours also say that though he spent the festive season break with his family, the couple were together to bring in the new year. For Selena, it’s the first diamond that she has been gifted and she is so touched and thrilled.

This year’s GIA contest has a winner all the way from New Zealand. Karl Williams entered his diamond ring set in gold and platinum and it has been declared this year’s winning entry.

The GIA or the Gemmological Institute of America runs the yearly George A. Schuetz Design Contest and they invite participants from all over the world. The winners this year were Karl, followed by Clarrie Yap from Hong Kong at second place and Elena Lorenzi at third place from Italy. The participants had to submit a design that had not been shown or seen anywhere before.

The design that won the first prize was a platinum, gold and diamond ring. The band was a segmented design of gold and platinum and the central diamond was 1.5 carats. Set around it were eight diamonds of 0.25 carats each. The second prize design was a ring with an urban landscape theme and the third was a pendant made of onyx and gold.
