Diamond Ring For Herself
When Marie Nordmann got to 40 and felt that she wasn’t going to get married, she decided that she didn’t need anyone to give her a wedding ring – she could do so herself. The Internet technology specialist began wearing one and then, recently, which is five years later, she decided that she would like a really great diamond ring to wear on her right hand and so the search began because she didn’t want just any old ring.
It’s taken her two years to design the exact ring that she wanted. The diamond, she says, came from a friend who was selling it when she got a divorce. She got the diamond set in gold with bezels of platinum. The large diamond is ¾ carat while the two smaller diamonds she used are ½ a carat. There was a lot of thought that went into this ring which she wanted to make very special.
Marie works as a liaison resource between developers of software and other businesses and helps them fine tune programmes. She also writes a blog and is active on Facebook. This diamond ring that she has designed for herself has become her favourite jewellery piece.
