Wedding Ring Found In Edinburgh Six Months Later

Six months ago, a woman lost her wedding ring as she and her husband were playing in the snow, throwing snowballs at each other. They searched all over and even got help from people around but there was no way they could find the ring in all that snow. They even got people with metal detectors in but to no avail. Minpreet and Arjan went back to Holland where they lived, despondent.
Then, six months later, fate took a hand in the search and a rugby player tackled the ball and fell right near where the ring glistened up at him. So he took it and tried every which way to find out who it belonged to. He put up the piece of news on the Internet and waited but there was no reply. Then fate stepped in again and he got a reply from one of the people with the metal detectors who had looked for the wedding ring.
From there, they tracked Minpreet down and soon she was reunited with her ring and so thrilled to have it back. So many co-incidences played their part. If Matthew the restaurant owner hadn’t been playing rugby and fallen face down, who knows how long the ring might have been there? Or who could have picked it up?
