Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have finally got married, thirteen years after they first got together and an eight-year old son later. They’re both 50 and they’ve been partners in their TV show This Morning On Fridays for a long time. He says something happened when he turned fifty – maybe that half-century mark is a turning point. According to Ruth, they bicker a lot but are very happy together. We wonder what the celebrity designer is going to design for Sienna. Sienna and Jude have been back together for eight months now and their wedding plans are going strong. It looks like they will get married before summer is over.

Earlier, there were rumours that the wedding would be in the UK followed by a second wedding in the US but now it looks like there will be just the one private ceremony and it will probably be held in France. The couple is there with Jude’s parents who live there and there were looking for locations in the Loire Valley. It’s expected to be an intimate gathering – just close family and friends and with everything that’s happened, that seems best.

It looks like Jude’s kids will be a part of the wedding ceremony though that does not really seem to have gone down well with Sadie Frost, his ex-wife. It started when Sienna took Jude and Sadie’s daughter and had her long hair cut at a hairdresser’s. Sadie was hopping mad and now that the lids seem to be so much a part of the wedding preparations, she’s not too happy.

The American Beauty and the American Pie star Mena Suvari got married to her fiancé Simone Sestito in a private church ceremony in Italy on Saturday. They met three years ago at the Toronto Film Festival and they’ve been engaged for two years now. The wedding was held very close to Vatican City which is where the Sestito family live. Apparently Mena chose a wedding dress that covered her tattoos because she wanted the family to approve of how the wedding was conducted, especially considering that there are nuns in the family.

Mena Suvari has been modelling and acting since she was a child and while she made a name for herself in the TV serial America Pie, it was for the film American Beauty where she acted opposite Kevin Spacey that she was nominated for and won awards, including the BAFTA.Mena’s unusual name comes from an aunt and godmother who was named after the hotel which stands at the foot of the pyramids in Egypt.

Petite and blonde, she was married to Robert Brinkmann, eighteen years her senior but they got divorced in a few years ago. Sestito is six years younger than she is. She is said to have looked absolutely lovely at the wedding ceremony which was to be followed by a private reception close by. Mena’s next film is titled You May Not Kiss The Bride.

A few days ago, Orlando Boom’s brand new fiancée was spotted looking at different churches in Hollywood, no doubt for their wedding. No, Orlando wasn’t around but she was quite happy to be out and about with her mother and her little dog as they looked around to see which church would suit their wedding the best.

Of course, what people wanted to see was her ring. Apparently it was either platinum or white gold with a huge oval diamond. The diamond was said to be at least 3 or 4 carats. Now that’s a lot of diamond!

As the first prize in a scavenger hunt, a diamond company called Rasmussen Diamonds in the US were giving away a huge diamond ring. So they donned their yellow ‘hunt’ T-shirts and off they went.

An emergency responder at Vancouver’s airport in Canada bought a house and moved in. It was while she was having the house redecorated and cleaned up that she found a diamond wedding ring fallen behind a shelf in the bathroom. If in some way it means a positive end to marriage, it might be a good thing.

The Crown Princess of Sweden and her Prince got married in a ceremony that was such a beautiful mix of the old and the new, the traditional and the modern. Stockholm was abuzz with guests for the wedding and news reporters from all over the world who were present at this royal show. It’s an event that has been awaited for months and it’s also because the groom is known to be a man of the people.

Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are said to have started off the dancing at the reception with a perfectly practised and co-ordinated waltz and they were watched by dignitaries and royalty from all over the world. The King and Queen joined them too and it was all a very accomplished performance. If one were to hear said that they had been practising for weeks so that this would be a perfect evening, it would be believed. The Swedish royal family is said to be forward looking and modern and they blend the traditional with the modern very well indeed. Maybe that’s why no eyebrows were raised when a gay couple joined the dancers on the floor. They are the best example of royalty and an open-minded spirit going together. One wonders how smoothly other houses of royalty could have adjusted to the changing times too if they had taken a leaf out of this royal family’s book.

So is the star of The O.C.’s engagement off? She was spotted in LA a few days ago sans her engagement ring so the news is out that it’s splitsville for the star and her fiancé – now ex-fiancé, Hayden Christensen. Rachel Bilson who made her debut in the film The Last Kiss is better known for her role as Summer Roberts in the popular TV serial, The O.C. She has also starred in the film Jumper which is a sci-fi film.

It was on the sets of Jumper that Rachel met Hayden and they got engaged two years ago. Rachel had been going out with her co-star in The O.C., Adam Brody before that and they were an item for quite a while. They broke off and the following year, she met Hayden and they seem to have been very close these past couple of years. However, sources say that they are not sure how their relationship is working out so they have decided to take some time apart as they put it, in order to try and figure out what to do. So maybe it isn’t really totally off – the engagement we mean and maybe it’s just some time out. Till then, however, it looks like the engagement ring stays off Rachel’s finger.
