Jude Miller gave Sienna Miller a diamond engagement ring way back in 2004 and then of course, there was all that brouhaha about the nanny issue and the messy break up. However, the couple has got back together and they are said to be enjoying each other’s company. For the past two years, the two have been seen around together and have even been caught holidaying together.

And now, she’s wearing his ring again – not on the left hand but the right. So we’re wondering just how soon it will be before the ring is on the right finger. He seems to be back on good terms with her family again and it’s probably only a matter of a very short time before they announce their engagement – or should it be re-engagement?

Everyone’s been waiting for what seems like an eternity for Prince William and Kate Middleton to get married. So does it look like it’s going to happen any time soon? That’s what the rumours say. So it looks like it might happen before the Rugby World Cup in the coming year which will be held in New Zealand and which could work out as a great honeymoon trip.

Considering that the 2012 Olympics is also due, maybe it would be a good thing if the wedding took place before that huge event. Whenever it happens, it looks like it’s something everyone has been waiting for and would welcome, celebrations and all.

In a town in Pennsylvania, USA, a man found a 3-carat diamond ring in the parking lot of a store two years ago. He couldn’t find out who had lost the diamond ring but that didn’t stop him from looking. Finally, he recently found the owner when she answered his ad in the newspaper. The man had gone to the police and told them that he just couldn’t give up the search because someone was sure to be feeling the loss of a ring so valuable.

Then, this lady answered the ad that the police helped put out and she described the diamond ring perfectly. She had taken off the diamond ring which was an engagement ring because she didn’t want to show it off because it was so valuable. It must have fallen off somehow. Now there will have to be all that work because she had already claimed for insurance on that ring. It was a ring with a single diamond set in platinum.

A 73-year old retired pensioner complained of pain in the stomach and when he was taken to Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, south west London, it was found that it was caused by a ring – his wedding ring. His wife noticed that the large signet wedding ring he always wore wasn’t on his finger and it was only when they took an X-ray that they found it was lodged in his throat so they let it be, hoping it would pass through his system. However, he took a turn for the worse and passed away.

Unfortunately, the ring got stuck in the food pipe. His wife saw that the wedding ring was missing and had looked all over for it – little did she suspect that he had swallowed it. What should have been a normal occurrence took a turn for the worse as he wasn’t too strong. Was the hospital wrong in letting things take their natural course or should they have removed the wedding ring is what the family is asking.

It’s not an engagement ring, it’s not a wedding ring – it’s a Thank You ring and a huge diamond ring at that. Chad Ochocinco, American footballer gave a 8.51 carat diamond ring to express his thanks to his instructor, Cheryl Burke. The ring was custom-made by a friend and he played out a huge charade just to gift it to her. He asked his jeweller friend to get her ring size without revealing anything, then he paid a whopping sum for this diamond ring which he chose from the jeweller’s best rings.

Why did he buy her this ring? Apparently he said that it was to compensate her for putting up with him for nine long hours every day. He is known to be generous and he also likes bling but this was something Cheryl never expected and all as a token of his thanks.

The country is all set to host the huge jewellery exhibition in Basel, considered to possibly be the largest show in the world. However, human rights activists are asking the country to ban diamonds from Zimbabwe saying that many of them are blood diamonds. As Switzerland is part of the Kimberly Process, the activists feel it is honour-bound to speak out against the atrocities that go on in this part of the world and show that they are serious in cleaning up the diamond business.

What human rights campaigners feel is that though many of these countries are a part of the Kimberly Process, they do not always stand up even though they might suspect that the diamonds coming through could be conflict diamonds. It has still not banned Zimbabwe in spite of the fact that there have been instances to prove that conflict diamonds were making their way into the regular trade.

Kate Winslet’s and Sam Mendes’s marriage is officially over. Just a while ago, there was Kate at the Oscars with a smile and her wedding ring on. Then the stories of his affair surfaced and before you knew it, the marriage had ended. According to her sister, Kate is bearing up and she has the family around her to support her.

The couple have been married for seven years now and even at the Oscars, it looked like they were very much together. Apparently Rebecca Hall, the English actress was the cause of the break up. The family continues staying in their home in New York for now though they have announced their separation.

Apparently American glamour model and TV personality and husband Hank Baskett are still very happily married, even though Kendra has been seen around town without her wedding ring. According to her tweets, she thinks it is very odd that people should be speculating about them and feels that it is crazy that a ring should represent love and marriage.

There’s a simple explanation to the whole thing. Kendra is expecting and her fingers have become a bit too big for the wedding ring. So the tight wedding ring has been sent to be resized. She’s put on quite a bit of weight and they are expecting a baby boy.

The wedding ring has been off Cheryl Cole’s finger for a while and now she seems to have replaced it with a flashy cocktail ring. In her recent trips to France, this gold ring was very much in evidence, even at a radio interview she gave.
The Coles have had their problems for some months now and Cheryl has not worn her wedding ring since the 23rd of February. However, she has always loved wearing jewellery so it looks like she’s finally in the mood to add some bling to her life again. She looks good wearing chunky jewellery too!

Elin Nordegren might be still married to Tiger Woods but she hasn’t obviously forgiven him. She was spotted with one of their children at the Sony Ericsson Miami Open with one of their children recently very much without her wedding ring. He was nowhere in sight – she didn’t want him around it seems. Apparently he was busy practising for the coming Masters.

While the media has been reporting that the two have been trying very hard to put their marriage back together, what has happened is going to be very difficult for Elin to forgive or forget. So we’re guessing till she can try doing that, that wedding ring is going to stay off her finger.

He doesn’t just play football – he helps couples to get engaged as well. American footballer Tim Tebow did something that was really a surprise for someone who was with him in college and his girlfriend. Ian Lis and Sarah Springer were in line to get his autograph when it happened. Ian and he had planned the surprise for Sarah.

They came up to him and what he took out was a great engagement ring. Of course Ian got down on his knees and proposed then and there. They had been going around for nine years and Ian wanted the proposal to be really special. Needless to say, Sarah was wonderfully surprised. What a wonderful idea for a proposal!
