Never mind that recessionary trends are visible in almost every area of life, when it comes to diamond engagement rings, prices have been firming up and rising. In the country today, with Valentine’s Day approaching, diamond rings are being bought not as a safe investment decision but as a symbol of romance. However, probably somewhere deep down, every person sees it as something precious and therefore something of investment value besides just the romantic value.
All over the world, the demand for diamonds is growing. The large stones are being bought as investment against fluctuating values of world currencies. In some countries, they are bought because they are easy to store and carry around and they cannot be traced like money. Whatever the reason, diamonds will always be things of beauty as well as things of value.
