After Wedding Rings, It’s The National Bowls Finals
Neil and Emma Hope from Melton were married in September in Australia and they are going to be competing in the Northampton indoor bowls this month. This happens to be a first time for both of them and they are hoping their newly wedded bliss translates into success at this competition. It’s a tough event with the best mixed pairs participating and they know they need to excel.
Right now, they are looking to get past the first round which Emma feels is the hard step. She has been a name to contend with in the under-25 teams but she has yet to make a name for herself in the senior team. Neil, who has played in the nationals indoor and outdoor finals has never participated in the mixed pairs events before but they decided to when they did so well together. We hope their wedding rings bring them luck!
