Wedding Ring Pillows
If you are having a traditional wedding with everything thrown in, you probably will have a ring bearer bringing up the rings to the altar. Granted, these might be fake rings and not the real ones but this bit of tradition does add to the overall occasion. The ring bearer, who is usually a little boy from the family or a close friend’s son, will carry the wedding rings on a little pillow. This pillow can be befitting to the occasion and could be made out of a choice of materials.

The usual choice of material for the wedding ring pillow is satin edged with lace and the colour is usually white. You can also have the pillow made out of old lace which is white or in sheer material like chiffon. The material used could be slippery so it is always a good idea to tack the wedding rings to the pillow. The pillow could be edged with lace or with frills. It could also be decorated with ribbons, sequins, pearls and beads. Little cloth rosettes, hearts, flowers and embroidery add to the whole effect. The pillow is usually a memento of the wedding so you might want to sew on the couple’s initials and wedding date.
