Hiding Engagement Rings Before The Proposal
It’s very often a part of the house manager’s job when a man decides to ask his girl to marry him at a restaurant. Usually, the man comes in earlier, makes a booking and asks the restaurant to co-operate and surprise his girl with the ring. The engagement ring could be hidden in a glass of champagne or in a bunch of flowers or even in a dessert.
When the Academy of Culinary Arts presents its awards once every four years, it takes into account a whole lot of things, including ideas about how to hide the engagement diamond ring. This year’s winner was Brad Gent and his all-round skills saw him far ahead of every other contestant. This was the first time his name was among the contestants and he did very well for himself indeed!
