A Tale Of Caernarfon Castle And A Wedding Ring
It was a very windy day and an American tourist reached out to save his hat which was blowing away. Only to find that his gold wedding ring came off his finger and fell over the wall of the castle. There was no way they could spot it, which was really sad because he had worn it on his finger for thirty four and a half years.
Then, an Australian visitor came to the castle and it just so happened that she spotted it on the tower, a relief against the dark stones. Thanks to the custodians of the castle and the lady’s honesty, the man who lost it was contacted and the wedding ring was back on his finger – well in time for the couple’s thirty-fifth anniversary! The ring had an adventure but it came right back to where it belonged.
