A Wedding Ring, An Engagement Ring And A Church Wedding Before She Goes
46-year old Diana Quiroz of South Austin in the USA does not have long to live because she has terminal cancer. She and her husband had been married before a JP in 1997 but she had always wanted to be married in church and she wanted a real gold wedding ring. It was just her lucky day that Jim Kruger of Kruger’s Diamond Jewelers read about her wish in the paper and proceeded to make her dreams come true.
When she came to church to take her wedding vows, she and her husband had already been measured for the wedding rings and she was thrilled to have Jim give them both the rings. Then he surprised her – he gave her a second box containing an engagement ring with a solitaire diamond. She had never possessed a diamond ring before and she was ecstatic. Of course, like any woman would, she cried for joy. The rings were beautiful and they fit perfectly. What a wonderful gesture towards someone who does not have too much time left.
