Girls Aloud Singer Loses Borrowed Jewellery
Kimberley Walsh had a bit of bad news yesterday when she heard that the jewellery that she had borrowed for an awards show was stolen from the courier who was taking it back to the store where she got it from. The jewellery is from a store in London named de Grisogono and it was worth £128,000. The jewellery consisted of a coral and diamond ring, a gold bracelet and pendant earrings. The star’s assistant handed it to the motorcycle courier and while the courier was filling up at a petrol station, the package was snatched from him.
Kimberley turned 28 yesterday and this must have been really bad news to hear on her birthday. There were two parcels that the courier was carrying and the police are investigating the theft. The jewellery had been borrowed for the awards event called ‘Woman’s Woman’ on the 11th of November, hosted by Cosmopolitan magazine.
