Plea For Return Of Engagement Ring
A heartbroken husband has pleaded with the public for the return of his beloved late wife’s engagement ring. Peter lives in Pitsea and after his wife passed away due to cancer, he has kept her engagement ring in his wallet so that he could feel her presence with this memento. She was buried with her wedding ring on but her engagement ring stayed and travelled close to her husband.
He lost his black leather wallet a few days ago but he just can’t remember where. He feels it might have fallen off when he travelled to Basildon – he had gone there to thank the people in the hospital for looking after his wife. The ring is made of yellow gold, it has a diamond at the centre and two curved rows of sapphires on either side. It means so much to Peter so he has requested anyone who finds the wallet and the ring to return it to him so that he can feel his beloved wife close to him.
