Jon Gosselin, Hailey Glassman And A Phantom Skull Engagement Ring

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

Just a few weeks ago, all the celebrity magazines were full of his divorce and now we hear he’s engaged to Hailey Glassman. There were rumours about them, yes but one didn’t think it would progress to the engagement ring stage this fast. Jon Gosselin, father of eight children, preferred to play down the relationship saying that they were just enjoying being together. However, sources say otherwise.

The engagement ring is supposed to be a skull ring with four black diamonds and is said to cost in the region of over £ 100,000. Now that’s one heck of a phantom ring! It’s been said that the wedding will take place in Las Vegas. The stunning ring is said to have been designed by Edouard Nahum, celebrity jeweller.

Was That An Engagement Ring On Kate Middleton’s Finger?

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Was Kate Middleton trying to tell the world something when she was spotted with a ring on her left hand? She was with Prince William in Gloucestershire for a polo match and she had come in with two finger rings on her right hand. Then she wasn’t seen around for a bit and when she did emerge from wherever she was, she had transferred one of those rings onto her left hand.

Obviously, that triggered wild speculation when all it could have been was a little bit of discomfort which made her change the rings onto the other hand, quite possibly without thinking. Then again, if this was a discreet way to tell everyone watching that they were ready to take their next step in the relationship, well, maybe this was a smart way to do it too!

If You Have Found This Wedding Ring

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

In Clacton, Mary Meecham lost her wedding ring. She’s from Basingstoke and she was on holiday at the Haven Holiday Park in Clacton and she thinks it could have fallen off on the beach. They searched high and low, all over the place and even in the car but they haven’t found it yet.

So now, she’s gone to the press and announced a reward because the ring is of great sentimental value to her. It is made of gold and has decorative indentations. The trouble is, till they were on their way home, she didn’t realise that it was missing. If anyone has found it, they hope that they will do the right thing and return it to them.

They’ve been together for eight years now and have three children, so we’re guessing it was about time that they exchanged wedding rings. The wedding took place in Beverly Hills at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church which has witnessed many a celebrity wedding since the time it was built in 1924,

Rhea Durham’s gown had silver embroidery and was a Marchesa gown and she had on her platinum and diamond ring by Neil Lane. The church was decorated with roses that were of a lavender shade and as soon as the wedding service was over, they went off to their reception.

Jessica Simpson’s Great Big Diamond Ring

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

She doesn’t need anyone to gift her a diamond ring. If Jessica Simpson wants a diamond ting, she goes out and gets one for herself – and a great big one at that! At a recent party, she was seen wearing a huge 5-carat diamond ring – not just an ordinary one but one from Pascal’s black and white collection.

So what’s the story? It so happens that she walked away with this huge sparkler at a listening party that was organised for a new Papa Joe’s happening night. She looked great, she obviously felt great in her high, high heels and short black dress – ands of course the dazzler on her finger when she walked out.

DeBeers Wedding Rings Part Of Wedding Contest

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

Mid-July, the winners of the contest ‘Today throws a wedding’ in New York got to walk down the aisle knowing that all their wedding expenses were paid for by the TODAY show. Now that’s something! The great part was, the viewers voted for who they thought should be the winners of the contest. The winners were Leigh Daniel and Nick Cordes and while their wedding rings are DeBeers, a lot of the other wedding expenses are still to be chosen by popular vote. This will include the honeymoon destination.

The wedding bands were chosen from an array of wedding rings that were put up – so was the wedding dress. The rings were an 18-carat white gold ring for her with three rows of diamonds and a platinum ring for him with a single diamond. This is something that takes place every year on NBC’s morning show and while couples compete, it is up to the viewers to decide what the wedding will be like. It really is a great boon for one lucky couple every year.
