Diamond Rings And Spanish Doubloons In Treasure Hunt Finds
There are a number of treasure hunters in Delaware in the US and while some are still waiting for that big break, there have been others who have found envelopes of money, Spanish doubloons and diamond rings. The trick perhaps is knowing where to look and people who do strike it lucky usually don’t give away their secret places where they go treasure-hunting. A lot of the hunting for treasure is done on river beds and what was just a hobby seems to have been revived with a vengeance in this time of recession.
Silver coins are a common find too and after a long weekend, there’s usually a haul of rings, especially diamond rings. After the revellers leave, the treasure hunters move in and very often, it is the excitement of a find rather than the value of what is found that provides the excitement. Some use metal detectors but for most, just poking around and looking is half the fun.
