Diamond Engagement Ring Among Rings Stolen During New Year’s Eve Party
In Buffalo, in the city of Lockport, the New Year did not usher in too much joy for one unlucky woman. She had a New Year’s Eve party in her home and ended up getting into the New Year with a great sense of loss rather than look forward to the year that had just begun.
The trouble is, Kelly Clines did not even realise that there were four rings missing from her house. She had put them all in a container and they were in the bathroom cabinet. Then one of the guests at her party called and said that she had mistakenly picked up a ring from Kelly’s place. She wanted to know if it was Kelly’s husband’s wedding ring. That’s when Kelly realised that not just their wedding bands but also a diamond and ruby ring as well as her diamond engagement ring were missing.
She’s reported it to the police and even asked to guest who found the one ring about the others but the lady has denied all knowledge of the other three rings. Bringing in 2009 with a party at her place wasn’t such a good idea for the Clines household after all.
