Engagement Ring And Wedding Ring Stolen From 90 Year Old
There’s been a theft in the Heartland area in the US and the sorry fact is that it was from a lady who was ninety years old. She had put her rings in a drawer and it seems to have been burgled from there.
There were three rings and all three of them seem to be missing. In the drawer were her wedding ring, which was a simple gold band, her engagement ring and a third one which had two small diamonds and an empty space where the solitaire diamond in the middle had fallen off. The rings were very old and well-used as they were all at least seventy years old.
The theft was discovered by her daughter when she had come to visit her mother and she has filed a police complaint. However, she could not give an estimate about what the rings together could approximately be worth. The rings are of more sentimental value than anything else for both of them.
