Deborah Kerr’s 60 Year Old Diamond Engagement Ring To Be Auctioned
Next month, a 3-stone diamond engagement ring belonging to Deborah Kerr will be auctioned at Bonhams in London. It was given to the late famous star over six decades ago by her first husband when he asked her to marry him.
The actress passed away last year and she had been suffering from Parkinson’s. She was feted for her parts in the movies An Affair To Remember and The King and I. She acted in them opposite Cary Grant and Yul Bryner. She also acted in a number of other roles, including ones where she had to dance.
The jewellery that is going to be auctioned includes this diamond engagement ring which they hope will fetch £25,000 and a snake-like gold chain.
