At Samara James we understand that you can never be one hundred percent sure that an item is going to suit you until you try it on. With that in mind we offer a 30 day money back guarantee to allow you to view the jewellery in your own home before making a final decision.

To return an item please contact us to inform us that the item will be returned. Provided you return the item within 30 days, unworn and in the original packaging we will give you a full refund.

Items not covered by our money back guarantee are diamond inset wedding rings, and bespoke designs not on our website that we have created to your specification.

Diamond inset wedding bands can be viewed un-set so that you can confirm the exact fit and style of the ring is to your satisfaction prior to purchasing. For bespoke designs, we can arrange for you to see a computer model of the design when it is being finalised, so that you can be sure of the detailing before we cast your piece of jewellery.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Return postage costs are not refundable and items are sent at your own risk. We advise you to obtain a certificate of posting at the Post Office for lower value items and use an insured delivery service for higher value items.

To cancel your order please contact us and if it hasn’t yet been dispatched we will issue you with a full refund, otherwise please refer to Returning an Order above.

Unfortunately breakages do sometimes occur. Firstly please contact us to let us know what has happened and provided  the item is within its 30 day warranty period we will provide a replacement item free of charge on receipt of the damaged item. If you decide you don’t want a replacement item a refund will be issued.

Samara James offers a free re-sizing service on our diamond engagement and dress rings. If you find the ring you have ordered needs to be a different size just pop it back in the post to us (We recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery) and we will adjust it in our workshop and return to you free of charge. We will resize all diamond engagement and dress rings once, within 1 year of purchase, free of charge. Where possible we also resize bespoke made rings free of charge.

For plain (not diamond set) wedding rings which are the incorrect size you simply return them to us in unworn condition within 30 days of purchase by Royal Mail Special Delivery and we will replace with a new ring in the correct size. Channel set full and 60% set ‘eternity’ style wedding rings are also covered under this policy, and will be replaced with a new ring in the correct size if returned in an unworn condition within 30 days.

For Wedding rings which have been worn and customised wedding rings there is a £35 re-sizing charge. Diamond set eternity style rings cannot be resized, but can be exchanged (as above) for a different size free of charge if in an unworn condition within 30 days of purchase.

Where it is not possible to resize in the traditional manner (for example if the band is set with diamonds all the way around the band) and where it is not possible to exchange (if the ring has been worn or is bespoke), please contact us and we will advise you of the options and costs.
